Yorkshire Riding Centre
For fifty years the Yorkshire Riding Centre has been offering top class training for horses and students from around the world. The centre is under the direction of Christopher Bartle and his sister Jane Bartle-Wilson. Themselves both Olympic competitors, they both offer training and tuition at the centre and around the world.
Individual riding lessons or groups of lessons are available with the Instructor of your choice. Lessons can be taken on your own horse. Yorkshire Riding Centre no longer have riding school horses for hire for lessons. Jane Bartle-Wilson sometimes has a more experienced dressage schoolmaster available which is suitable for practising more advanced movements in lessons with her. Please be aware that a weight limit of 175lbs (80kgs) applies.
With a number of livery services available from Full, Part and DIY. All livery services include use of the extensive facilities at the Centre. These include: Two indoor arenas, two outdoor arenas, cantering track, show jumps, cross country fences and the horse walker.
