Rockley Stables was opened 15 years ago by Patricia Reeves, who has over 30 years experience in riding and teaching at all levels and disciplines.
Rockley specialises in teaching children to ride in a safe, friendly and fun environment. All instructors are trained to a very high standard on how to teach children to ride . And all lessons are taken in the all weather outdoor ménage.
All beginners are taught whilst on a lead rein, until they have a balanced seat, along with being able to walk and trot unaided.
Lessons are available for children from the age of 4 years old to 16 years of age, and lightweight adults (Maximum weight 12 stone) are also welcome.
In addition lessons, pony care courses for beginners teach children about the responsibility of loving and caring for animals.
Plus, Rockley Stables offers gift vouchers for riding lessons,pony days, and stable management courses.
