Palmers Stables Riding School
Set in 43 acres of Oxfordshire countryside, Palmers Stables Riding School is only 3 miles from the Reading.
The Riding school has been in existence since the mid 1960’s and stood where The Ridings is today. It was run by Bernard Henry Palmer until 1980 when current owners Karen and Nat took over.
Plamers Stables offers riding for all levels from beginners class lessons for Adults and children up to jumping and cross country lessons. There are also pony days, 4 day pony weeks, shows and competitions.
Today 23 horses and ponies belong to the stables and there is also a DIY livery yard as well. There is an outdoor rubber arena 40 x 20m where most of the lessons take place.
There is good off road hacking and there are a range of hacks to suit everyone from 1 hour to day rides.
