Middleton Park Equestrian Centre
Middleton Park Equestrian Centre originally opened in 1991. It was originally a joint venture between Riding for the Disabled and Leeds City Council. It has since become a trust with its own Trustees and its own policies.
Opened in 1993 officially by HRH Princess Royal, the centre’s aim is to introduce and provide a fun, sporting activity, and or career opportunities on behalf of the Riding for the Disabled Association.
Middleton Park provides activities for the community at affordable prices, with concessionary rates available, depending on individual circumstances. The centre is an Approved RDA Centre and caters for all disabilities, all facilities are wheel-chair accessible with a ramp and a hoist to help mount.Carriage driving is also available for clients wheelchair bound clients.
All instructors are trained and skilled in a range of equestrian disciplines, and all levels of experience and ability are welcomed, from complete beginners to seasoned veterans.
