Meadow School of Riding
The Meadow School of Riding was founded in 1958 by the late Mrs Olwen Allonby in the village of Stanford on Soar, Leicestershire. It is now situated at the edge of the beautiful Beacon Country Park on Deans Lane, Woodhouse Eaves – see map for location – and is run by Dawn Whitmore-Kirby.
The riding school horses and ponies range from 11hh to 17hh and are suitable for beginners and advanced riders.
All lessons take place either in the indoor or outdoor school and can be either private or group depending on individual requirements.
Hacking is available for the more experienced rider. Plus special activities such as pony care days and pub rides are also arranged.
