Lakefield Equestrian Centre
Lakefield Equestrian Centre is a BHS (British Horse Society) and RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) approved centre offering full equestrian facilities and catering for all abilities, from complete beginner to the more advanced rider. For those interested in training and taking exams Lakefield Equestrian Centre has two fully BHS qualified instructors, who can offer teaching for exams as well as taking on apprentices for those interested in furthering their career in equestrian services.
A competitively priced livery service is offered, with the security of knowing that your horse will be well looked after every day by staff who are always willing to offer help and provide the advice you need to make the right decisions for your horse. The centre’s facilities include an indoor school, weather permitting outdoor school, show-jumping paddock and cross country course. The on site tack shop, is where you can buy equipment for less and ask for advice from people who use it day in day out Lakefield’s riding school!
Children can also join the Saturday Club and come to learn about Stable Management as well as the actual riding. Its the perfect preparation for owning your own horse or pony! Parents are welcome to visit the Lakefield Teapot, the on site cafe, whilst their children are riding or whilst waiting for lessons.
