Helmsley Riding School
Helmsley Riding School is run by the Barker family, who have been run an equestrian business in Helmsley, North Yorkshire for over a hundred and fifty years – five generations.
In 1925 The Stables became a riding school, the oldest now in the UK. The riding school teaches mainly children, to ride in the very pleasant Duncombe Park and surrounding area.
A wide range of horses and ponies to suit all standard of riders are available. Hacking for adults and children takes place in the lovely valleys of Rievaulx, Riccaldale, Ashdale and Beckdale.
