Learn to Ride a Horse at Fly Laithe Stables! Fly Laithe Stables, was established in 1981 and is now catering for children and even grandchildren of early clients! Offering a friendly, family run riding school experience near Halifax.
With a large selection of 30 horses and ponies from 12hh to 17hh suitable for various abilities and disciplines. The school runs pony days in the school holidays , these day include stable management lessons a riding lesson and a 2 hour hack. Trips for the more experienced riders are frequently arranged, and include take your favourite horse or pony to the beach at Southport, St. Annes or Fraisethorpe beach or to any of the local cross country courses.
Fly Laithe Stables also provide annual all inclusive riding holidays with the horse or pony of your choice; one adult holiday (non riding partners and friends very welcome), one children’s holiday and one camp at the stables for the younger or less experienced riders.
Learn to ride a horse in the safety of Fly Laithe Stables’ all weather riding arena. The experienced tutors will help total novices and even those who are nervous of horses to become proficient horse riders. If you have the basics together, dressage and jumping training is offered.
